Hey man, i have the alienware 15 laptop i updated to windows 10 and installed all available drivers but recieving the same unkown device issue, the unknown device is from the location Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System. I tried the driver you sent this guy but its not working for me. Apr 11, 2017 Unknown device ACPICPL00022&DABA3FF&0 is showing up with a clean install of windows 10 pro on a dell alienware 13,2015 model. Any ideas what this is? Everything is working fine but like a lot of us here we want to see a clean device manager. Thanks in advance. Some users have successfully installed Windows 10 on these non-supported systems. But they did all the driver investigation (example = installing 7/8/8.1 drivers) to force it to work. Dell does not have the resources to do this on non-supported systems. I also had this problem with an Asus EEE 1001px. It also would not wake from sleep mode, having to do a hard reset to restart it.

Select- Go back to windows 7

Got through the menus and wait while windows 7 reinstalls
Now it runs fine again.
I didnt think it was worth upgrading to Windows 10 for the asus eee running on windows 7. In addition to the issues above, it also ran slower in general, there were compatibility issues with old software, and startup took a long time, compared to my windows 8.1 toshiba which was upgraded to windows 10 and compared to win7 on this computer.
Theres also no support or drivers for win 10 for these computers although I might add that I kept all of the drivers and so I reinstalled the suggested chipset driver (intel install) which installed ok but didnt solve any problems. I tried installing all the other drivers I had and they either didnt work even in compatibility mode or reported that a newer driver was already installed.

Therefore, I think the best solution here is to go back to Windows 7 unless you wish to forever be trying to solve problems like this.
