Wifi hack for pc windows 10. Windows 7 has a feature called 'VirtualWifi'. It allows you to split your WLAN access in Windows 7 on your Laptop or PC and to act like an accesspoint for other Laptops, so you can share your internet connection.
3 Steps total
Step 1: Enable VirtualWifi
You must run a command line with admin rights.
Type in:
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid='MySSID' key='Mykey' keyUsage=persistent
Free pirate movie sites. Leave the commanline-window open
Step 2: Check the new virtual wifi adaptor
Go to your Device Manager and check if you see a 'Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport Adaptor' when expand the network adaptors.
If you check your wireless network cards in your network and sharing center you´ll see a second wireless network connection.
Step 3: Start the virtual network card
Go back to the admin-rights command shell and type in:
netsh wlan start hostednetwork
With just a few steps you can make your Laptop or PC act like an wifi-accesspoint for friends or colleagues in a hotel or a at a conference.
You can disable this feature by typing in 'netsh wlan stop hostednetwork' at a commandline window with administrator rights.

This sounds pretty cool. I'm confused on why it would be necessary though. Most access points already cover a decent range. Why would someone need to do this?
Could it be used in a home scenario where you don't have a wireless router, but you do have a wireless NIC?

It´s designed for situation where you have no public wifi. One can share for example his 3G connection (or modem connection) with others at a meeting, so the laptop with 3G can act as wifi accesspoint for all other people in the meeting. Or you can share one public wifi access with other so you can share your costs, if you have to pay for it.

Mesh network allows you to extend the range of your wireless network by using a laptop as a hop. So for example what I'm doing is using a laptop in the middle of the house to get the connection on the right side of the house to the left side of the house. That way I can sit in bed on my ipad.
There is one missing step. You need to make sure you share your internet connection between your two wireless network cards.

Hey, thanks for the info, I connected the router but it says no internet connection, I was unable to access the internet with the other computer, could it be that need to make sure you share your internet connection between your two wireless network cards, you said its the missing link? If that's so how do I do it? Both systems are HP notebooks

Hola,
I tried Ad-Hoc network (Internet Sharing) from Win7 and sharing to iPad. I solved it by sharing the VirtualAP with WEP security configured. It wouldnt work with WPA2 security. // Joakim
